Privacy Policy

How PromptPay handles business data.

Last updated: June 2, 2026

This privacy policy is a practical product draft and should be reviewed before paid launch. PromptPay Copilot is designed to help businesses track invoices, payment deadlines, documents, reminders, and proof.

1. Information we collect

PromptPay may collect account information, company information, workspace records, client/project records, invoice records, uploaded documents, reminders, payment follow-up notes, usage information, and technical logs needed to operate the service.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide the product, authenticate users, display dashboards, store documents, process invoice and reminder workflows, generate evidence packets, improve reliability, and support users.

3. Uploaded documents

Uploaded documents may include invoices, receipts, contracts, change orders, payment proof, photos, or other business records. Document storage should remain private and access-controlled.

4. Service providers

PromptPay uses cloud and infrastructure providers to run the service, store data, authenticate users, process documents, host the web app, and operate background jobs. Future billing is expected to use Helcim.

5. Data protection

PromptPay uses authentication, access controls, private storage, and cloud security controls to protect business records. No system is perfect, and users should only upload documents they are authorized to store and use.

6. Retention

Business records may be retained while the account or workspace remains active, unless deletion, export, retention, or backup workflows are added and documented separately.

7. Your choices

Users may request help with account access, support issues, or business record review through the support path. More formal export and deletion workflows should be added before paid launch.

8. Contact

For privacy, account, or support questions, use the support page until a dedicated support and privacy contact workflow is added.
